I am all about keeping things simple, especially at the holidays. I don’t want to be so stressed out that I can’t enjoy the people around me. Anybody else? That’s why I’ve created this list of simple sides that you can have on your table for the holidays.
Throw in a turkey or a roasted chicken or a pork tenderloin or a ham and some rolls and your holiday meal is complete…and hey, don’t hesitate to ask for someone else to bring something. I’ve found that people really enjoy being asked.
Ready for a chaos free Thanksgiving?? Here we go…
The night before, make the cornbread for this dressing. It will take you 15 minutes, but you’ll thank yourself for doing this extra prep work.
Now, the day of your meal start these green beans and whatever you choose for dessert. Don’t forget to put the Classic Cornbread Dressing in the Crockpot.
Now, don’t forget to set your table (feel free to use paper products), put the casseroles in the oven, and, by all means,…love the people around you. The memory of this day and this gathering of these people will exist long after all this food is consumed. Breath. It’s going to be a great day!
