Since we operate on a cash budget, eating at home as much as possible really is the best option. These Simple Fish Tacos are a favorite lunch option for us if we don’t have any leftovers. In fact, I love them so much, I will make them even if we do have leftovers. Want to know why? I’m so glad you asked. I’ve compiled a list:

When I make these tacos, I use fish sticks and flour tortillas and then I top these with shredded cheese, a special sauce, shredded cabbage, and a spritz of lime juice, but you could totally change it up to meet your needs.
Trying to eat low carb?
Use grilled fish and then wrap the fish in a lettuce leaf. Top with cabbage, cheese, and lime juice.
Do the same as above or you could just a corn tortilla.
Eat it like the low carb suggestion
Don’t like flour tortillas?
Just use corn tortillas.

Follow this recipe below.
- 6 fish sticks, cooked according to package directions
- 2 flour or corn tortillas
- shredded cabbage
- shredded cheese
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1 T. sriracha
- lime wedges
- Place cooked fish on tortilla.
- Top with cabbage and cheese.
- Mix sour cream and sriracha.
- Put on top of taco.
- Spritz with lime juice.
